The Vinsanto del Chianti Classico DOC FL Fuoriserie was born in 2006 20 km Northeast of Siena, in the southern part of the Chianti, towards Gaiole.
The production methods are rigorously artisanal and mostly by hand.
To protect their living and working environment, the owners do not use chemicals that are harmful to the soil. Plants are cultivated in a way that respects their natural balance, using interventions that improve aeration, exposure to sunlight and controlling humidity, in a way that increases the plants’ defences against attack from disease or pests.

The Malvasia a and Trebbiano grapes used for this Vinsanto are carefully selected by hand
at the end of September 2006 and are then hung in well-ventilated rooms for drying.
After a few months of maturing, the result is a must that is rich in extracted sugar, which is then
sealed in traditional Tuscan Caratelli barrel for 12 years. Only after this long wait, the Vinsanto is ready for the delicate bottling operation.
The careful selection of the best grapes, the excellent craftsmanship, the long stay of the wine in traditional Tuscan Caratelli ensure that a unique concentrate of density, color, aroma and flavor is obtained, a true “Fuoriserie” nectar.
