At a tasting event, I discovered a small, remarkable roastery where coffee becomes art through passion and dedication. The founders, raised among sacks of beans from all over the world, have spent their lives perfecting their craft, combining time-honored methods with modern insight.

Their mission has always been to deliver the finest coffee without compromising on artisanal quality. They have traveled far and wide, through Brazil’s hills, Colombia’s forests, plantations in India and Africa, all the way to Jamaica and Puerto Rico. Working closely with farmers, they select beans with precision, considering every detail from moisture to aroma.

But true mastery lies in the roasting. Every origin has its soul, and each coffee deserves to shine. Rather than standardizing, they enhance the unique traits of each variety.

This philosophy led to the creation of the FL Fuoriserie Line Coffee Selection, a tribute to passion, craftsmanship, and authenticity. Every sip is a journey into the heart of tradition and excellence.

Roasting: where coffee comes to life

Roasting is the heart of the production process, the moment when coffee beans are transformed into a unique sensory experience. Guided by skilled specialists, each batch is roasted with precision, following carefully calibrated times and temperatures to bring out the distinctive character of every variety.

Our producer’s philosophy is centered on enhancing each coffee’s unique aroma. Small samples are tested using a miniature roaster, then allowed to mature for 6–9 days. They are then cupped to select the finest lots, ensuring only the best profiles reach our customers.

To maintain consistency, a state-of-the-art 120kg roaster is used for full-scale production. Each stage of the process is meticulously monitored to preserve the coffee’s body, aroma, and flavor. This is when the beans develop their full aromatic complexity, with notes that range from chocolate and caramel to ripe fruits and warm spices.

Roasting is both an art and a science: a delicate balance of technical knowledge and genuine passion. It’s in this moment that coffee becomes more than a drink, it turns into a journey of flavor and emotion, capturing the true spirit of specialty coffee.

A Journey Through Premium Origins

Our Specialty blends are crafted from a meticulous selection of beans sourced from exceptional plantations across the globe. Each origin contributes unique flavors and aromas, creating a rich and layered sensory experience. Expert tasters play a key role in this process, evaluating coffee lots from over 16 countries to ensure consistency and excellence.

From the award-winning Finca Hebron in Colombia’s Huila region come notes of tropical fruit, cocoa, and delicate floral undertones. Ethiopian beans from Yirgacheffe Kochere add vibrant citrus and fresh fruit aromas, while Fazenda Recanto in Brazil enriches the blend with dried fruit and hazelnut. In Honduras, Finca Las Delicias, nestled in the high-altitude region of La Paz, brings sweet notes of tropical fruit, cocoa, and spice.

Indian coffees also play a central role. Attikan Estate, on the slopes of Karnataka, adds chocolatey and spicy nuances, while Venkids Valley Estate in Coorg offers body and depth with buttery and dark cocoa notes. Brazil’s Fazenda Venturim contributes a balanced body and nougat finish with its award-winning Robusta beans. Finally, Finca Ramirez in Santo Domingo enhances the blend with almond, hazelnut, and a milk chocolate finish, grown with eco-conscious care.

Selection of Raw Materials:

Our selected producer begins with the careful selection of raw materials, essential for ensuring superior coffee. Each bean is chosen through meticulous research, sourcing from the world’s best plantations. This process involves close collaboration with local farmers who share our commitment to exceptional quality, ensuring the final product meets the highest customer expectations.

The selection process is backed by years of experience and dedication. It involves evaluating the geographical location, cultivation methods, harvesting, and processing techniques of each plantation. Only ripe cherries, handpicked with precision, are considered worthy of specialty coffee standards. Full traceability of each lot guarantees transparency and the highest quality.

The expertise of our tasting team, composed of recognized professionals, is critical in selecting the finest lots. Through a precise cupping process, the team analyzes each sample, evaluating over 24 factors, from aroma to aftertaste, to ensure only the best for our customers.
